Takashi Murakami paints self portraits is an exhibition of Murakami’s trademark “superflat” paintings. His new Chrysanthemums series, inspired by Japanese painter Ogata Korin and reminiscent of the decorative floral designs of traditional Japanese painting, is a departure from his usual garish compositions of made up characters.

After his retrospective, The Air is On Fire, at the Fondation Cartier in 2007, David Lynch returns to Paris to dress up the windows of Galeries Lafayette.
